When you wear Little Lotus, you look good and feel good knowing your unique, handmade garment was ethically made with respect for people and the planet.
Little Lotus Boutique aim to be fair, ethical and transparent through our supply chain. We work with marginalized artisans in rural Cambodia to produce beautiful, handmade garments and support the development of handicraft businesses to enhance the quality of life in Cambodian communities.
We believe in people above profit. We work with community organisations and artisan producers in Siem Reap, one of the poorest provinces in Cambodia, to ensure that our products are made ethically and that artisans are paid fairly.
We support sustainable development in Siem Reap, Cambodia and base our business on the Fair Trade principles of mutual respect, accountability and transparency, putting people and planet at the heart of what we do. This enables the artisans we work with to put food on their tables, build their businesses and send their children to school.
How we do business
- We treat our partners, artisans and producers with respect
- We work with organisations that support artisans with training and development to strengthen their businesses and preserve their skills
- We make 50% advance payments on our orders to help artisans and create opportunities for economically disadvantaged producers
- We plan our collections with enough time for hand production – we don’t believe in ‘fast fashion’
